'Leila's Loneliness' actor goes to Lebanon for series

Actor of ifilm hit series Leila's Loneliness is set to director new TV series set in Iran and Lebanon.

Actor/director Behrouz Shoeibi's new offering is at the pre-production stage with the casting underway, a media report said, adding, "The series is yet to be announced."

Cinema producer Mohammad Khazaei said of the new series, "The shooting will be done in Iran and Lebanon," adding the production runs for 30 episodes.

To a question of whether the series will recruit some international stars, he said, "Nothing is set in stone, though some internationals actors will be in the series."

The producer of the series also said September is the kick-off point of the series.

'Leila’s Loneliness' is the story of a girl from a rich family who travels from the US to her ancestral homeland, Iran, and falls in love with Mohammad, the custodian of a mausoleum who is a religious man.

Despite ideological differences, Leila finds peace in Mohammad’s austere and spiritual lifestyle and gets married to him. Leila faces many ordeals and hardships in her life, but her faith helps her to overcome them.
